Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Eternal Tombs (image above) shares some lore, Ethyrial and Fractured Online get hacked, and several MMOs are running Black Friday sales. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

BitCraft

This week on BitCraft Twitter, we get a look at the updated model for a smoker as well as a sample mining camp.

Broken Ranks

Sometimes, having the IMS run on Sunday means we are late with some time-sensitive news. Broken Ranks held a Black Friday sale on, well, Friday. Unfortunately, unlike most retailers, they only held their sale for 24 hours. Hopefully, all of you Taernians logged in and were able to participate in the savings.

City of Titans

The full launch area of City of Titans is now available in the latest patch. The full map includes eight city districts that are further broken down into 42 neighborhoods.

Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore

The weekly Blankhans stream featured the Head of 3D Art & Animation, David.

Corepunk

Corepunk’s next play test will run from December 16th through the 20th. Although the exact number of participants is still unknown, it was announced that the NDA would be dropped for this playtest, so we can expect some screenshots and video this time around.

The Day Before

Still not convinced that The Day Before will hit its December 7th Early Access launch? Well, Fnatic has doubled down by tweeting out a PC Global Launch calendar.

Dreamworld

Alpha 2 is underway. If you wish to join, you have a chance to win a key by joining and reaching level 2 on their Zealy platform.

Ember Sword

The IMX Ember Sword Migration is almost over. You have until November 30th to migrate your assets to Immutable X.

Eternal Tombs

A new update to the Eternal Tombs website fills in some of the history and lore of the world

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

Ethyrial was hit with a ransomware attack last week. The servers are back up, but you must create a new account. Once your account is created, Team Gellyberry will have to manually restore your items, level, and everything else associated with your character.

Fractured Online

Fractured Online was also hacked this week, with an intruder using an admin account to erase all player-owned cities. A full account of the incident has been posted by Dynamight Studios. The developers also posted a post-launch review and roadmap for the future, revealing that 5000 copies have been sold in the first two weeks of Early Access.

Margonem

The game engine and game client have been updated to version 48.7.0 and version 30.0.0 respectively. You can find the patch notes on Steam.

Palia

Subira has arrived in Kilima Village along with Palia patch 0.173. The patch also introduces a new quest line, Flow Tree Groves, and a new huntable.

Prosperous Universe

Check out Development Log #411 to see what Michi has been working on this week.

Realm of the Mad God

RotMG is having a Black Friday sale. Although some of the deals have already expired, you can still pick up some packs through November 27th and 28th.

Ship of Heroes

A new blog post outlines Ship of Heroes’ one-of-a-kind character augmentation system

Star Sonata 2

A new dev diary covers all of the changes being made to the Anatolian Expanse.

Wurm Online

You have until November 27th to check out Wurm Online’s Black Friday sale. A new Valrei International was also posted this week, with resource nodes being the main topic.
