This week, Fractured Online celebrates The Hunt update with a free-to-play week, Corepunk has a rough week that ends with a server wipe, and Ember Sword moves to Mantle. Book of Travels
I missed Update 0.52.8 last week. It was a small update that was primarily bug fixes.
Corepunk
This week was full of updates and server restarts in an effort to fix bugs and improve server stability. The week ended with a server wipe on Friday. A blog post explained why the team felt it necessary to wipe the servers clean; TLDR - they need to wipe progress to evaluate the fixes they have put in place effectively.
Dual Universe
myDU, the standalone version of Dual Universe, will be released on August 19th. While the new version will not require a subscription to set up or join a user server, there is a one-time purchase of USD 34.99.
Elethor
Pre-patch notes for v41 were posted on Discord this week. You can expect changes to renown buffs, new Beyond ships and modules, and more.
Ember Sword
Bright Star Studios announced a new partnership with Mantle, a new on-chain ecosystem. The announcement details why BSS is moving from Immutable X to Mantle and what this means for players.
Eterspire
Build 33.0 has been released. The update is full of bug fixes as well as new content.
Foxhole
A new Devblog covers all of the changes coming with the Summer Update 2024. Although Update 58 is a QoL update that won’t include any new content, the post also contained a roadmap that covers up to early 2025.
