Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Fractured Online has opened data migration, Corepunk is filled with bots, but in a good way, and Emily is still struggling with her time in Ethyrial: Echoes of Woe (yes, I changed that on purpose). Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Anvil Empires

Pre-Alpha Test #4 will begin on Tuesday, May 30th. The 48-hour-long test will be focused on Settlement building. There will be a Devblog posted on Monday to showcase the features of Test #4.

BitCraft

Corepunk

Corepunk developer Artificial Core posted their May news update this week. While continuing to optimize the code in preparation for a Beta Test in the future, the team has been using bots to simulate real player interaction with the game. There’s some good news for all you joystick warriors out there: gamepad and joystick support are being added to Dual Universe in Update 1.4

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

Emily checked in with MMORPG to give us an update on her time with Ethyrial. Her first review in progress wasn’t very positive, and unfortunately, her time since launch hasn’t been any better. Two more patches were pushed out this week to resolve many of the launch issues that have been frustrating players. The team has also been working on onboarding videos to acclimate new employees to the team’s processes and tools to get them up to speed as quickly as possible.

Foxhole

Able War 104 started on Wednesday. Now is the perfect time to check out the starting conditions and join up with your favorite faction.

Fractured Online

You can now able to migrate your characters from Glyph to the new Fractured servers. Migration is necessary if you purchased the game through Steam or Glyph. If you have never played the game on Glyph, there is no need to migrate; just log in on the website like you did in the old days.
