Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Zenith talks PvP, Gloria Victis gets the Season of the Wolves, and Dreamworld gets a new launcher. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Aether Story

Update 0.7.12 is now live. Along with minor bug fixes and a change to Red Egg Gem drop rates, the Xnaph’s Curse event is now over. As a parting gift, players who obtained some of Xnaph’s items have received Alpha Tokens for the remaining pieces. What a classy move. Why don’t more games do this for their events?

Anvil Empires

Devblog #2 has been posted to the Anvil Empires Steam page. Signups for the AE Pre-Alpha Test are now being accepted. All you need to do is request access through the Steam page.

BitCraft

Along with their weekly Twitter vignette, we also got a new Letter From The Producer on Wednesday. According to the post, Pre-Alpha 9 is over, and Pre-Alpha 10 is planned to be their last big Pre-Alpha milestone.

Dreamworld

Although we don’t mention every weekly update for Dreamworld (many of them would make you yawn), this week's patch includes a new launcher for the game. Progress has been made!

Genfanad

The weekly patch has added a new area west of the Timberlode Threshold. The new area has two new villages, Tropeton and Gimmick, a new quest titled Ronan’s New Hat, and some new monsters.

Gloria Victis

Update 356 is now live. Season of the Wolves is the title of the new Glory Season that is now underway. The Vally of Death Tournament Siege Map is now live, giving you a chance to take part in sieges with 300+ players. And let’s not forget that the new Werewolf boss is ready to be summoned by guilds strong enough to battle it.

Mad World

Mad World’s official launch is just around the corner (April 26th), so be sure to pre-register and claim your character name now!

Mirage Online Classic

Due to timing issues, we always miss the announcements of the almost weekly EXP weekends for Mirage Online Classic. According to MOC Discord, there have been too many EXP events, so they toned things down for this weekend and went with a 99% boost instead of 100%.

Nightingale

A new developer update has been posted for Nightingale. The video covers feedback for the March playtest and gives some insight into the team’s plans moving forward.

Prosperous Universe

Get your weekly Development Log (#381) fix here. Michi talks about progress on the leaderboards, while Nick is still looking for players to submit “Prosperous Universe Stories.”

Ravendawn

Ravendawn has seen over 40,000 players since the start of Open Beta. And in case you missed it, our own Nick Shively had the chance to interview Tavernlight CEO Nicolas Schrik.

Realm of the Mad God

The RotMG Easter Event is now live and runs through April 25th.

Scars of Honor

BeastBurst announced the BeastBurst Mobile App this week. The app is available on iOS and Android.

Star Sonata 2

The Refined and Reforged 1.0 patch is now live. You can find the patch notes on the game’s Steam page.

Tales of Yore

Tales of Yore is a new entry for the Indie MMO Spotlight. Creator cokeandcode posted a devblog this week celebrating two years of development. If you are looking for a 2D pixel MMORPG, be sure to check out the official site (linked above), swing by their Steam page, and join their Discord.

Tatsumeeko

Get all the Tatsumeeko concept art and development update news you can handle in their Weekly Devblog.

Villagers & Heroes

Patch 5.0 is now live. The patch includes work on play balance and bug fixes. You can find the patch notes here.

Zenith: The Last City

There still isn’t a release date for Zenith’s next major patch, Skyward Summit, but a new announcement on the PlayStation Blog covers the addition of PvP and the new Cyber Ninja class.
