Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, The Hunt for the Golden Goober is still underway, Broken Ranks had a kidnapping don’t worry, it was staged), and Into the Echo (image above) prepares to expand its lore while another MMO heads to the grave. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

BitCraft

It’s been two years since Clockwork Labs announced BitCraft, and their weekly tweets are still just pictures and short videos of the sunrise.

Broken Ranks

The Broken Ranks team posted a kidnapping/ask me anything video this week. Topics include the current gear rework, orbs, skins, and much more. Be sure to turn on closed captioning if you don’t speak Polish.

Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore

Coreborn has posted a quick survey for the community to see what new systems they would like to see in the game.

The Cycle: Frontier

The end is nigh. The Cycle: Frontier servers will shut down on September 27 at 4am ET.

Dual Universe

The second clue for the Hunt for the Golden Goober was posted on Thursday. And for those of you who may have forgotten, Dual Universe will celebrate its 1-year anniversary on Wednesday, September 27th.

Foxhole

The next major update for Foxhole will have a devstream reveal on Thursday, October 5th. The stream will begin at 2PM EDT on the Foxhole Twitch channel.

Genfanad

Genfanad posted another blog post with more information about the upcoming changes to make Genfanad a hybrid TCG/MMORPG.

Havenhold

A new batch of invites went out this week, but there is still time to sign up for Havenhold’s weeklong Alpha 0 playtest that will begin on October 7th. 

Into the Echo

Into the Echo’s new lore site, Journey Across Raava, will go live on September 29th.

Nightingale

A new developer update was posted this week. The video discusses the delayed Early Access, the August playtest, and the NDA.

Open Perpetuum Project

Patch 29 is currently live on the test server, and you can read the update log on the OPP site.

Palia

A new Dev Update was posted this week. There are several new game features in the works, like an obstacle course, flare arrows, and ammo and bait pouches.

Project F4E

Project F4E’s next playtest is set to begin on October 5th.

Prosperous Universe

Development Log #402 is available to read.

Quinfall

Quinfall is looking for community members to join a small community test team, and they are also accepting applications for content creators.

Wurm Online

A new edition of the Valrei International was posted this week.
