Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. In a slow week, DreamWorld had a new patch, Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore shared some lore, and Project Gorgon getting its first major update of the year. Some other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.
Dreamworld
New patch notes were posted for DreamWorld this week. Along with a revamped tutorial, enhanced UI components, and a bunch of bug fixes, DreamWorld now has full controller support.
Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore
If you’ve been curious about the lore behind Ethyrial, you are in luck. A new Discord post outlines the history of Irumesa, from its creation to current times.
Nightingale
A new Dev Bites video was released on February 20th. The video celebrates Nightingale’s Early Access one-year anniversary.
Palia
Palia’s Patch 0.189: Kilima Couture Update is all about the posh lifestyle. The patch introduces stickers, some Spa Day Decor, and new eyeliner makeup. There are also new pluses, flowers, and tints.
Project Gorgon
Project Gorgon’s first major update of 2025 is now live. The patch includes Vidaria, a new outdoor area. A preview version of Vampirism has been released, giving players their first look at the new combat skill for high-level characters. Other changes include animal form travel boosts, combat and treasure changes, and high-level monster adjustments.
Prosperous Universe
Development Log #471 was released. The log covers material transfers. The PRO license time gifting feature mentioned in Log #470 was also released this week.
Realm of the Mad God
A small event is now running through February 25th. The Wine Cellar now has a Chest Event that opens a portal to the Battle for the Nexus, and two Tavern Quests have been added to the Tinkerer.
Reign of Guilds
Update 0.95.123 was released. The patch focuses mainly on experience gain. This includes new XP boosts, short buffs gained after being offline, party XP distribution, and much more.
Villagers & Heroes
V&H will be holding a Mod Appreciation Day on Saturday, March 1st.
Wurm Online
A new version of the game launcher has been released for public testing.
