Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Anvil Empires shares a new devblog, Fractured Online looks for funding, and Palia launches a new rewards program. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Anvil Empires

It’s Devblog time again for Anvil Empires. Blog #21 discusses map and sign posts, armor racks, ore processing, and other features being added to the MMO.

BitCraft

A new video showcases player-built roads from Alpha 3.

Broken Ranks

Broken Ranks has pronounced that @vernonroche_br, @Orla cien, and @basfau have been chosen as Pillars of the Community on the BR Discord. This is the second round of community members to be recognized, and they will receive a three-month honorary rank of @Pillar of Community and three months of premium account for the recognition.

Elethor

Tier 11 has been added to Elethor. The patch includes the new Beyond questline, T11 gear and monsters, and new stat increases.

Foxhole

There will be a live Devstream on Tuesday, February 11th, at 1PM ET. The stream will have a preview of Update 60.

Fractured Online

A new Discord post hinted at a fresh financial opportunity is in the works for Fractured Online. The post notes that they aren’t taking on a new publisher but does state that “This new chapter is being planned with the utmost care for the legacy of our game and the community that has supported it through thick and thin. Me and the other founders of Dynamight Studios would be a part of it.” I don’t know about you, but the last time I saw an indie developer say something like that, Legends of Aria turned into a blockchain game before it finally went defunct.

OrbusVR

OrbusVR has outlined the Farewell Events that will be held over the next couple of months before the MMO is shut down in April.

Palia

Zeki’s Loyalty Club was rolled out this week. If you are unfamiliar with the new rewards system, you can read about it in the Update 0.188 patch notes.

The Quinfall

The Quinfall is looking for content creators to join its community. You can apply by filling out this form.

Realm of the Mad God

RotMG has updated its Bundle Packs on Steam

Villagers & Heroes

After a short delay, Patch 5.40 was released on Tuesday morning. The update includes five new Frontier zones, changes to the Elder Boss system, the arrival of the Sugarsweet Summit Event Zone, and much more.
