Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, multiple titles use their Beta tests to find and fix issues, Broken Ranks makes changes to their upcoming holiday events, and Once Human purges hundreds of bot accounts. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Broken Ranks

Not excited about the current in-game events going on right now? Whitemoon is listening and is making changes for upcoming events. A short-term solution for the Andayan event that just started and long-term solutions for future events are discussed in this post.

Corepunk

Since entering Alpha-4, Corepunk has had key distribution issues, server instability, login issues, and exploits leading to a server wipe. You know, an actual test where issues are found and resolved, unlike the publicity betas that are so popular these days.

Ember Sword

Not in the Ember Sword Beta Test? Check out the replay of Friday’s dev livestream where the devs and other testers take on Canavar.

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

Steam Patch 3.2.2 went live on Wednesday. The patch contains more UI improvements, a handful of new quests, and guilds!

Fractured Online

Fractured Online will be translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French by community volunteers. The first languages will be available by the end of the month.

Ilysia

A new X post lets you “armor up and unleash your inner warrior:

Nightingale

Details on Nightingale’s next update, Realms Rebuilt, were posted this week. This includes a new progression model, new maps, and much more.

Once Human

Even after a bot purge that permanently banned 700 players, Once Human is still in Steam’s Top 10, with an average daily player count of over 150,000. I’m not good at maths but I believe that is more than tens of players.

Palia

Palia’s latest devblog, titled Looking Ahead, gives a sneak peek at Patch 0.183.

Prosperous Universe

Michi covers his continued work on infrastructure construction in Development Log #446.

The Quinfall

If you have ever wondered how valuable an Alpha or Beta test is, just check out this Post-Closed Beta blog post.

Ravendawn

The Horizon’s Call update went live on Friday. Additional servers have been set up to reduce the queue time, and double XP and loot were offered through Sunday morning for an issue with player land.

RetroMMO

RetroMMO’s 4th birthday event is running through the end of the month. We can also expect a new video with a summary of the current state of the game by the end of the month.

Wild Terra 2: New Lands

Major Update 367 is out. The update brings a new group dungeon, exotic weapons, a friends list, and plenty of bug fixes.

Zenith: Nexus

Zenith Season 4: Golden Isles hit the PTR on Friday.
