Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, it takes both hands to count the number of MMOs with patches and updates, Genfanad gives a first look at its TCG infusion (image above), and the Hunt for the Golden Goober is underway. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Aether Story

As Aether Story nears Early Access, there will be a change to its Patreon tiers starting next month. September will be the last month that the $10 tier unlocks a cosmetic pet, so as a bonus, pledgers will get to decide which pet they get.

Anvil Empires

The next Pre-Alpha test scheduled for September 20th is being delayed. An exact date on when the test will take place has not been announced, but expect news the week of September 25th.

The Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore team just can’t catch a break. The server migration that was supposed to take place last weekend still hasn’t been completed as of Friday evening, leaving the servers offline for over a week and counting. This is just the latest in a string of delays and issues since Ethyrial’s launch on May 1, 2023.
