Full disclosure: Battle for Azeroth code provided by Blizzard.
I have to be honest. I didn’t play as much World of Warcraft this week due to swinging wildly through New York City in glorious 30fps. (Spider-Man. I was playing Spider-Man)
However, I did manage to traipse through Azeroth this week. I finally -- FINALLY -- completed the Siege of Boralus mythic dungeon with the help of my buddy and MacWorld Editor, Leif Johnson, who kept us all healed.
Having completed the dungeon, I went back to speak with Katherine Proudmoore and watched the little council unfold where Taelia’s true identity was revealed. That was really cool.
I also took part in my first raid you guys. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, other than a more epic dungeon of sorts. We did LFR which I was told is much easier than a standard raid. I think this was good for me to ease into raiding and understand some of the mechanics at play.
I’m not going to lie, I still panicked and blindly mashed the buttons TellMeWhen told me to mash. Still, it was fun. I’m definitely interested in doing actual raids now. Something about the mass chaos intrigues me.
Also, after a week of awful loot drops, I finally got some good gear this week. I’m now item level 330 which basically makes me the mightiest dwarf in all of Azeroth you guys. My goal now is to grind dat 7th Legion rep. Gotta play as much as I can before Assassin’s Creed Odyssey hits and sucks up all my time!
