Thought it seems that all things in Azeroth are quiet as we wait for news on the next expansion, that doesn't mean the IP is resting on its laurels in other media. In this week's column, we finally get a good look at the upcoming Warcraft film and take a look at other Comic Con announcements.

In an official post on the World of Warcraft site the team outlined new improvements coming in Patch 6.2 to how itemization will work. Essentially the two biggest changes are coming to the Personal Loot system and itemization improvements from bosses in the new Hellfire Citadel raid.

Happy new year, everyone! It’s hard to believe that it’s already 2015 and that World of Warcraft is entering its eleventh year! There’s many things to look forward to this year, the planned content patches for Warlords and the possibility of the next expansion being announced.
