Orcs Must Die: Unchained and Off the Hook - Our PS4 Review

Orcs Must Die as a franchise has, over the years, broken some pretty important ground in the areas of tower defense and horde mode. Their snap on approach to tower placement, on the fly construction and tight combat systems have become more and more polished with each new title in the series. Orcs Must Die! Unchained, the latest title from Robot Entertainment, continues the tradition of bringing a refined and polished experience to the hands of gamers.

Fortnite is a Game You Want to Try

I’m writing this, instead of playing Fortnite, because the game is currently down for maintenance and taking longer than anticipated because they’ve had to scale up exponentially and broke themselves. That’s a good problem to have, I suppose – game’s doing really well in sales and had to come down to increase server load. But while I wait, here’s why I think the MMORPG.com crowd should give this one a look.

BattleTech Preview - A Natural Evolution of the Tabletop Game

When word came that Harebrained Schemes was working on a new BattleTech game for PC and that the desire was to re-create that table top experience, I was more than a little excited. Everspace Review - The Last Starfighter

Everspace is stunning. There’s no way around it, the game makes an incredible first impression. Within minutes, you’re zipping through asteroid belts, dogfighting with enemies you don’t quite understand, and scavenging wrecked freighters for resources you aren’t sure how to use. The Unreal 4 Engine renders these spacescapes in such gorgeous detail that once the threat has cleared, you have to pause to take it all in.

Quake Champions - When You Suck But Have Fun Anyway…

Quake Champions is finally letting the press folks talk about their time in Closed Beta, and we’re happy to report that we’re absolutely terrible at the game. Normally, this wouldn’t be something we’d celebrate, but that’s the thing about Quake… its breakneck speed and over the top action mean that even when you’re dying every few seconds you’re likely still going to have a good time. Read on for our first impressions.
