The sponsors of last week's City of Heroes Unity Rally have announced that they have successfully completed a fundraising activity called "Dinner's On Us". Fans of the game donated money to purchase dinner for the entire Paragon Studios team.

Over five thousand City of Heroes players gathered together recently to send a message to NCSoft that they want to save their favorite superhero game. Called the "Unite Rally", the in-game event lasted over two hours and even featured a contest for players to costume themselves as their favorite Paragon Studios dev.

In a realignment of company focus and publishing support, NCsoft has made the decision to close Paragon Studios. Effective immediately, all development on City of Heroes will cease and we will begin preparations to sunset the world's first, and best, Super Hero MMORPG before the end of the year. As part of this, all recurring subscription billing and Paragon Market purchasing will be discontinued effective immediately.

NCsoft and Paragon Studios have announced that City of Heroes: Issue 24 - Resurgence, has officially launched. In the new update, the Praetorian War is over and players will find lots of new content, features, powers and missions.

Paragon Studios and NCSoft have announced that the latest City of Heroes content upgrade, Issue 23: Where Shadows Lie, will officially launch today. According to the team, Where Shadows Lie brings the story arc started with Going Rogue to its epic conclusion.

Paragon Studios has laid out the framework for what they are calling a summer blockbuster for City of Heroes. Beginning July 10th, players will have a pair of new adventures: Time Gladiator and Casino Heist.

Paragon Studios is ramping up the PR machine with today's revelation of what will occur in Issue 23: Where Shadows Lie for City of Heroes players.
