Issue 20 Launch Trailer

Paragon Studios and NCSoft have released a brand new trailer featuring game play footage from the most recent update, Issue 20: Incarnates.


Issue 20 - Incarnates Launches

Paragon Studios and NCSoft have announced that servers are currently offline to bring Issue 20 - Incarnates into City of Heroes. Issue 20 brings a host of big changes to the game including new powers, trials and more for upper level players.


Sorry, No XP Today

Paragon Studios has announced that it has run out of experience to award players with in City of Heroes. What XP remains to give out will be awarded to lower level players with no future levels past 50.


March Producer's Letter

The latest City of Heroes Producer's Letter from Nate "Second Measure" Birkholz. The letter goes into some detail about the newly announced Global Server List and expanding the European player base by expanding the player pool. Birkholz also discusses player identities with a short footnote about Issue 20.


Live Dev Chat March 31st

Paragon Studios has announced that the City of Heroes team will be hosting a live developer chat via UStream. The chat will take place Thursday, March 31st from 6-7 pm PST. evelopers John "Protean" Hegner and Tim "Black Scorpion" Sweeney will be on deck with Andy "Zwillinger" Belford and André "Beastyle" Carlos will be on hand to talk all things City of Heroes.


Incarnates Overview Updated

Paragon Studios has updated the official City of Heroes Issue 20: Incarnates page with new information on the Behavioral Adjustment Facility and the Lambda Sector. In addition, devs will be hosting Issue 20 Beta sessions to help players familiarize themselves with changes coming in Issue 20.


NCSoft Donates $6.3 Million to Japan Relief

In another example of the outpouring of generosity from the gaming community, NCSoft has announced that it has donated 500 million Japanese yen to charitable organizations assisting those in need after last week's disastrous earthquake and tsunami. This translates to approximately $6.3 million USD.


Creating the Floating Fortress

Paragon Studios' Gilbert Martinez has updated the City of Heroes Intrepid Informer with a look at creating the Floating Fortress that will debut in Issue 20. The article is the second part of the series to give players an inside look at content creation.


Global Server Access Coming

During PAX East last week, Paragon Studios announced that City of Heroes players will have access to worldwide servers beginning later this summer. Devs have posted a handy dandy FAQ about account name "collisions" and how those issues will be solved for players.
