Launch DevChat Tomorrow

Launch DevChat Tomorrow -

Cryptic Studios will be hosting a post-launch DevChat tomorrow at 4:30PM PDT. The devchat will take place, as usual, on IRC and you will need to either connect to and join #championsonline with your IRC client of choice, or use Coldfront's Java chat client.

The format of the devchat has also changed somewhat. The questions answered during the devchat will come from questions submitted through a provided forum thread, with questions from the audience to be fielded near the end of the devchat.

Daeke, a community relations representative for Cryptic Studios, elaborated further on what they hope to cover in tomorrows devchat in a post made on the game's official forums today:

Oh, man. That amount of info I have is staggering. But I don't think I'm qualified to fully explain what the designers are currently working on and what their future plans are. That's why we set up tomorrow's Devchat, where they'll be able to talk about everything that you've had questions about over the last week. Here's a teaser of things I'm hoping to discuss tomorrow:

  • Retcon
  • Free Retcon
  • Our Economy
  • Design philosophies
  • The Launch day patch
  • What's coming up next

I beg you not to hold me to these, but I have submitted questions on each of those subjects to have coherent, definitive responses to for tomorrow's chat. If it comes down to it, I'll go stand in front of them and make them answer them.

The official announcement can be viewed here.
