Using Pantomime Works for Combat Animations & Progress to Beta 1 -

The Camelot Unchained weekly newsletter is out in the wild and it comes with the intriguing note that the team has been using pantomime while figuring out combat animations for the Forest Stalker. This has been done to help the team create the right "powerful and flashy" look for Overgrowth Shot and, from the letter's celebratory mood, it seems to have worked.

As usual, City State devs have been hard at work in a number of areas as they prepare Camelot Unchained for Beta 1 this summer. Notably, testing continues as they work to track down bugs, flesh out the crafting system.

  • building placeables
  • improved projectile interpolation
  • scenario pop ups for victory / defeat or round over
  • terrain collision improvements
  • editor improvements
  • key bindings
  • ability animations
  • VFX and SFX on abilities
  • concept art
  • updated patcher

The letter also has a number of art pieces that you can see by visiting the Camelot Unchained site.
