Bloodborne Overview
Bloodborne is an action RPG by From Software, the developers of the Dark Souls series. The game takes place in a ruined city where the inhabitants have been mutated into horrible creatures by a mysterious illness. The city was rumored to have a cure for various diseases, which draw travelers. Players must figure out how to survive amidst the dangerous creatures all around. The game utilizes a system of risk and reward, encouraging players to take an offensive approach, but also offering up a challenge that makes players not only rely on action, but also strategic combat.
- All New Story, Setting, and Challenges | Head to the city of Yharnam, where a strange illness has changed people into frightening creatures, as you search for answers to the mystery, as well as try to survive.
- Play Together or Against Each Other | Two multiplayer modes include the ability to help another player in co-op or in versus PvP. Both modes allow for up to two guests to join the Host and either work together to complete challenges and defeat a boss or try to beat the host to claim a reward.
- Dungeon Crawling | Chalice Dungeons, which are procedurally generated, are filled with traps, creatures, and rewards. Players can complete them solo or with others. Dungeons may also be shared to challenge friends.
