Lords of Evil is a free to play browser based flash web game published by Ray Flame Entertainment.

The game does not require high end or expensive hardware, better yet it does not even require tedious download which occupies your hard drive spaces. All you need are just a fair computer and Internet access. You are invited to take this astounding journey to strategically build your own territory. Within this game, you could be whoever you want to be and pass on the legend of your own.

The game has the following features.

Guild: Lords of Evil has a very strong guild system that allow players to team up and battle with players from other guild. You better make sure that the person you are going to attack does not belong to a strong guild, otherwise his/her friends are very likely to hunt you down.

Stronghold Battle: Guild members are entitled to certain resource bonuses when their guilds occupied a stronghold. That is why guilds are often battle against each other to gain control over strongholds. This is another unique way that provides gamers with great social interactions within Lords of Evil.

Sophisticated Development Trees: The game has buildings, skills, units, and defense developments that you can master. Depending on your play style, you will have to mater different development over time.

Events & Competitions: Ray Flame Entertainment continuously hosts events and competition for players to participate and interact with each other. This is something that not many web game developers or publishers are currently doing. Within Lords of Evil, you will always be able to see events and competitions that you would love to participate.

Some of the earliest MMOGs are believed to be originated in Asian countries: China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. However, it is not until recent years that Asian MMOGs developers started to penetrate the U.S. market. According to some of the developers, the Asian markets are extremely saturated with low profit margin. These are countries are also the pioneers in Micro-Transaction business model.

Micro-Transaction and Free to Play models actually started in Asian between late 90's and early 2000, on the other hand U.S. actually just started these business models not long ago. It is the main reason why so many Asian developers would like to have a taste of U.S. market; these Asian developers believe that they are seeing a growing market in U.S. which is like the one in Asia from 5 years ago.

However, the U.S.  audiences see micro-transaction in a different point of view. The acceptance toward micro-tranaction business among gamers are extreme and divided. I have seen people whom totally support the the business model, yet I have seen people totally look down at the such practice. I am not speaking for neither side; however, I do love to see how people think of it. This is the first entry of my blog, and I will write more detailed entries about this topic in the near future.
