Level Grinding

I am new to this blogging thing so don't kill me if I do something wrong. I will try to make my point as quick and clear as possible.

I have read many articles of people complaining that this or that game has too much level grinding and I do to a point agree that grinding gets boring and repetitive, however I do think that it is a good way to weed out the n00bs to MMOs who do not know how to play the game. Here is my point, how many of you have been playing WoW and been in an end game raid with 12 year olds? Honestly think to yourself, 12 year old kids are able to get to level 70 (i think that is the max) in WoW without a problem. Other games like Final Fantasy get ragged on because of such harse grinds, it takes a good year to get to the max level in Final Fantasy and then there are subjobs to level and end game things such as dynamis (raids). I for one would have it no other way, I would hate to be in a high level party where the people i was playing with didn't know what a skillchain was. I am pretty sure i didn't make myself clear at all that probably has to do with the fact that i am typing this at 2:17 AM and i got a good two hours of sleep last night. My point is that grinds are good for games because it weeds out the people who will mess things up in the end.
