Games. How we should look at them.

People tend to look at a game and compare them to others. Now that is fine and dandy when you are just trying to explain similar features to the game. But what about when playing a new game of any genre? Should you judge a new game from previous game?

Many people like to look at new games and just compare and contrast them to their previous game.  Wich is usualy their most played.

The problem with this is your expecting to have something just as new and innovative as that game.  Now why is that a problem?  Because most games are not innovative.  They only change and improve things that have worked before.

Now what should have been done while you started play this game?  Looking at it from the perspective of never have you played a video game before.   Leave your bias of your favorite most prized idolized game at the log in screen of your current new game.  Then proceed to have an open mind of the game.

Now after doing this you can actually say you have tested/played a game.  Doing anything else will result in you not truly experiencing the game because you have just shut your eyes to it.
