Guild Wars: Off to Lions Arch

My love affair with Guild Wars has been a on and off situation. But now Guild Wars just brought me back into the land of Tyrial. Ive played this for almost 2 years now, adding the on and off affair we had. I log on and fast travel my way to Lions Arch, the main city in all of the lands and it gave me a flashback of when our guild organised a guild war against our nemesis. There were heated disputes on who should go and on what to do, but I hid myself from these as I knew would be the first picked. But now everything seems different, my new guild is great and the members are actively involved, but when i entered Ascalon city I was greeted with a heated dispute between 2 groups of players, saying why east coast is better then west. A half hour later they are still going at it, so I decided to make peace between them, as soon as that happened the 2 groups hit me with a wave of insults.

This is a shame to see, but some good moments were experienced after joining some fellow friends and cracking up some Chuck Norris jokes, and heading off into the underworld to battle the dark forces that awaited us there. Guild Wars is truly a great experience but I fell as though its hampered with people who think that this place is the complaints call center. But no matter what I will still be achieving feats, so that my future Guild Wars 2 descendent's will receive rewards for there ancestors hard work.

Vindictus: Talking trash

Ahhhhh Vindictus, a brand new MMO thats recently hit the market. With impressive graphics, the ability to use the environment as a weapon and it's free! Now this game is in the beta stages of production, and so far its holding out to be a good game to appeal to a wide variety of gamers out there. Now something has just hit me, people are starting to complain and trash talk about this game, while people are entitled to their own opinion, some just sort of get out of hand.

Vindictus is currently in BETA, this is the time where people report any bugs that have ridden the game with frustrating  moments, such as trying to kill that epic boss, then getting hit with massive lag or the game crashes. I know these might seem as a major problem, but this clearly is not a finished product and its obvious that this beta will be on for a while so that these bugs get an early fix. This currently brings me to my point, why are people complaining? Why are people trash talking saying that this game is ripe for the flames of oblivion?

Vindictus is a fun and enjoyable game, that will keep me occupied and glued to my computer chair for a while. The epic boss moments and adrenaline pumping combat, nearly keeps me on the edge of my seat. So fellow MMO'ers, what do you think?

Vanguard: Fighting to stay alive

As a fellow Vanguard player, I have been shown the capabilities of what a MMO can achieve and bring to the market. I know that people say that Vanguard had a bad launch, and it was so bug ridden you couldn't even  play for around 30 seconds. Now that brings to my attention of what Vanguard is now: It is one of the best MMO games out there, but it has a big fatal wound that will soon show the demise of it.

Good words to the Vanguard vets for keeping this game alive, I know it might not seem as enough to fix some of the problems it still has, but you people have given some people the chance to play one hell of a great game out there. Which then brings me to another thing, SOE is planing to introduce a free to play system and somehow implant it into this game, thats not a bad idea as this brings in newcomers, but i just really hope it works so Vanguard can fight to see another day.

Titans Shadow

Hello everyone.

First off id just like to let everyone know, that i think the MMO genre is getting a little bland. Now this my own personal view, so feel free to tell me what you think I will gladly take any helpful info or ideas on this. Ok so now on with this

I'm starting to feel that MMO's should get a makeover, well not a makeover but maybe they need to renovate here and there, but i feel as though a lot of developers are getting lazy. I have to admit I am seeing some amazing products about to be released, with the likes of RIFT, TERA, TOR, GW2 and a plethora of some great MMO's coming out soon. But i'm positive that 90% of developers have lost this passion for creating these great games. I certainly do have a passion for them but my skills in games development is low, but one thing i can show you is my idea on these things and I hope you take a look and read some of them. (I also borrowed some info from other games, put them with my ideas and see how it turned out and i'm pleased)

Titans Shadow

Open world, single server, single shard: Titans Shadow supposed to be the fantasy game that did away with multiple servers and zones in a game. The world was supposed to be seamless and for everyone.

Skill-based advancement system: No levels and rigid class structure here. Instead, the game's advancement was base don doing. You want to improve your sword skill? Go swing the sucker around for a bit. Want to learn to cast magic? Practice makes perfect.

A great pathing system: Many people will applauded its impressive pathing system.

Live Content: The idea behind this feature was to have developers act as GMs, providing unique and interactive experiences for the game's players on a regular basis. While this wont  replace your standard array of quests, it was meant to supplement them and give the story the feeling of being alive, interactive and changeable through player actions.

Unique Minion System: Minions, would give your character more versatility. They are supposed to be an entourage of NPCs that could travel with your character. Playing a Warrior and need some healing support? Get a Priest minion. Players would have some control of the minions in much the same way that pet classes control their pets in most MMOs.

Exciting PvP: Prepare yourself for the most spectacular of castle sieges, amazing territorial wars and the most brutal fighting in arenas, Titans Shadow will amaze you in many possible ways

Become a Demigod: Challenge one of the powerful Titans, and receive the gift of a Demigod. Bring in the power of the seas, the might of the volcanic earth or the fearful spells of the underworld. You will also receive powerful armor and the ability to transform into a Titan during PvE. But beware as there might be a worthy challenger or another powerful Demigod waiting to destroy you.

Introducing all new TvT: The Titan of the server can command his forces and challenge the other titan in TvT combat. This truly is revolutionary game play.

Thats about it! I have been thinking of this for a long time. Just hope I can make it become a real thing.

But most importantly, thank you to those for reading. If i get enough views or comments i'll bother making another one and show you....My ideas for a MMO
