I've been an MMO player since UO came out. I've pretty much tried everything that is worth a try as far as MMOs go and I have to say the Old Gen MMOs are just plain boring except 1 or 2. And I am calling every current MMO "Old Gen". Every single one feels outdated in many ways (not just their graphics). Can we gamers just let these "Old Gen" games die so we can focus on the new ones? They have become so bland and fruitless that there is no skill involved. I played WoW for almost 2 years... became the strongest pvper/warlock on the server and sold him. Came back to WoW a few months later, became the strongest pvp Shaman... then sold again and I will NEVER go back. I'm currently at CoX but even it is plagued with the "Old Gen" blues. I'm ready for skill to enter the MMO scene. The death of Auto Attack needs to come ( doesnt mean 'heat seeking' spells wont exist). The death of stupid-mindless grinding needs to come... its only a poor way to keep customers busy. MMOs might be in "persistant" worlds but the fact is these worlds are very boring that leave your character with little feeling of doing something epic or world changing. Even though WoW has made the MMO scene bigger, in a way it also extremely dumbed the scene down.

I am going into Interactive Game Design and I do take notes any experience I have in an MMO. These are just some of my notes...
