September promises to be an exciting month with major gaming companies' latest installments on their products.

Early releases included The Beatles: Rock Bank, with upcoming Halo 3: ODST is expected to take some noise as well. However, leading global thid-party publishers EA and Activision are behind major multiplatform releases for the month.

Gamers will not be disappointed with EA's latest Need for Speed franchise of arcade-style racers with Shift on the PC, 360, PSP and PS3. Another sports franchise ready to make headlines is NHL 10, which features ice player Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane gracing its cover on mid-September. Meanwhile, 2K Sports will topbill Washington Capitals main man Alexander Ovechkin on its cover of NHL 2K10.

Activision is relying on its superheroic action role-playing game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 for Wii, Playstation 2, DS, Playstation 3, PSP and Xbox 360. Other significant releases are Bethesda Softwork's Activision-Vivendi acquisition orphan Wet, Crave Entertainment's PS3 and 360 versions of Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, and 5th Cell's DS sandbox puzzler Scribblenauts. These versions are likely to awaken the interest of the most bored gamers in town, including serious essay writers as well as other geeks out there who may be so busy with their custom essays.

Here's hoping October releases could beat the current installments!
