We've hit Week #3 or our Open Beta testing and we're making excellent progress on dealing with major and minor issues. Several Focus Testing sessions have seen some intense battles, mostly infantry and armor at this stage,  and initial feedback from those involved has been overwhelmingly positive:

As a player who has played since 2004 this game has improved many times over the past few years. This time the Rats outdid themselves. -jizzyjaz

The new environment gives me a Operation Flashpoint feeling - Monsjoex

"1.31 doesnt just give us eyecandy its giving us a new tactical approach to the warfare in ww2ol which i think is much needed and is ultimately uber in my eyes, teamwork levels will need to be increased. As mentioned at night oh my lol gonna be fun when this things fully live." - Woodbine

Week 3 testing will move from concentrated, controlled fighting to regular campaign play. We'll be testing new features like the capture mechanics, flying and fighting in the rain, busting Fire Bases, capping facilities and battling to own the Army Base bunker.

The beta server is currently operating under a restricted schedule in order for staff to be able to monitor the testing and server performance real time rather than rely mainly on reports. Once we're satisfied that we've gotten as much feedback from the focus testing, it's likely that the Beta will be open for play for extended hours.

We're very excited about the upcoming live release. v1.31 has been a long and consuming update, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And this time we're POSITIVE it isn't that oncoming train.
