Howdy to all of the MMORPG gamers out there! It’s believed that the Knighted As Cavalry articles have attracted quite a bit of attention from you guys. Being an 8 year old MMO game, making one step at a time is quite important for us to move forward with game progression.

Now, the testing work has entered its final phase, and the major bugs we’ve found have also been fixed. All done to get it prepared for its launch by the end of this month.

And we went to pester the tech team yet again, and managed to get an update on the new features. It’s so fascinating to have a crack at trying out on the latest item, the Riding Crop.

Riding Crop
With this Crop equipped, you can perform any skills you’ve mastered from horseback! Just take a look at the screenshot below.
The Ninja’s Toxic Fog can be performed on horseback, and you can still leap off of your steed and cast spells to attack your enemies. Doesn’t it sound intriguing? I believe so!

When the concept drawings first came out, a wide variety of players wondered what would it look like fighting on horseback. Does it bear a resemblance to the drawing, itself? Now, as the mystery becomes unraveled, maybe the Ninja screenshot didn’t explain that much. But this Trojan performing Dragon Whirl may say it all. With that being said, your steed will fight with you!

The new feature will be updated into the world of Conquer by the end of July. By then, the Riding Crop will be available from the Shopping Mall, though it’s not certain how much it will cost, right now. We’ll all know soon enough!

As always, feel free to ask questions in the comments and we will try our best to answer them all.

Knighted As Cavalry? Why not!

Howdy, all MMORPG gamers! Today, I’m here to talk a bit about the new feature coming into Conquer Online, this July. This is considered to be a marquee update to the world of Conquer. I bet most players have already anticipated this change coming to the game, that is to say, fighting on horseback.

This is one of the original concept art pieces of what was imagined. Doesn’t it look awesome?

Right now, this feature is still in development, with the tech staff finishing up the most difficult part, the movement of the horse in combat. When you fight against someone else riding a horse, all of the movements would be quite different, like your gestures, postures, swings, etc.

Much like you need to collect saddles so you can acquire mounts, we’ve brought out a little training course and an item to collect that will allow you to fight while riding. This new item will help all who want to hold huge cavalry fights and ride down their enemies! And this item, my friends, is called the Riding Crop.

Do these 3 slots look familiar? Yeah, we know you’ve seen them. Always one empty spot in your equipment, nagging at the back of your head. What could it be?  Well, there’s no question, this is what will be going in that final slot that has been a mystery for quite some time!

Basically, the only thing that’s changed is the way you fight. If the new style of combat can put you at an advantage, why not play as a kind of knight and fight on a horse?

We raided the tech team’s office and got to experience a bit of the new features in the beta stage, and it really was a lot of fun fighting each other as you’re riding around everywhere. We have to say, this could be a fair, little shakeup to the overall PvP aspect of Conquer. This will make tourneys a lot more interesting, anyway!
That’s all for now, but stay tuned! There’ll be more to come in the next couple of days.
