Who I Am

I've been playing MMORPG's for 1 year and nine months.I started with RuneScape on 1-1-2006. I quited just a couple weeks ago because the game is simply overrun by scammers, autoers, and 6 year olds. Still, the best Java game ever made. Don't let my lack of actual experience fool you, though. I've played WoW, but only for a couple weeks when I got in trouble and had to quit. There are some games that I want to play badly like City of Heros/Villains and DAoC, but I just don't have the money.

I am also interested in programming, and I have just started that journey. I just bought a book, installed Dev-C++ and started with it. But I'm not here to talk about that.

I am waiting for Darkfall and WAR to be realesed. But Darkfall is an whole other post in itself. Long story short (for now) Darkfall realesed Summer 2008 beta this Winter. One of my friends says Chronicles of Spellborn will be great, but I haven't really looked into it yet.

To me, I'd play any MMORPG over a console game any day (unless its an RPG. Then it would be decided by what MMORPG it is). Consoles try to take over PC games, except the Wii. To me the Wii is the best because its unique, first of its kind.

With more posts in this blog I'll talk about just my opinions on released games and those under devolopement. I am more into the "Sandbox" MMO type. More player run economies, its all about the players. It's all about skills too. I hate having to define what I mean by skills....What I mean skills is actuall skills, a persons skills. Not skill advancement.

So this is just a short post about what kind of gamer I am. To most of you I am a definate noob to MMO's because when I was 4 years old you were playing UO. Atleast I'm not totally clueless...

Welcome aboard I look forward to reading blogs from you in the future. As you know I too love Sandbox MMOs however I am happy you still possess the flexibility to appreciate less-freeform games such as WAR. And don't worry that is great experience coming froom Runescape- for example I have not played that one.
