What a week it has been. I've upgraded my computer, got my gaming gear, and I'm all set for "next gen" gaming. I pre-ordered FFXIV, and due to SE's server problems, and etc, I have gotten to play but a little bit, but what I have played... I had been amazed how much it actually is. I've been playing Final Fantasy's since I was born basically. A lot of people are upset about the server issues, but I am remaining calm about the situation, and they will resolve the issues soon, since they are doing a world wide maintenance, people are still complaining because it's during prime time, but hell... If it fixes the servers i'm all for it. Despite all of the errors and issues, the game is in fact a really, really good game. I love the atmosphere the game brings, and the world is truly beautiful. I played about 10 hours straight when I was first able to logon, it was truly addictive. SE has made a very beautiful world, and it is extremely polished. I cannot wait until the servers are fixed, and I can play more and more. I have faith.

Most people are complaining, and wanting refunds, but... They are giving us a 7 day trial extension, they are doing their best, and they are giving us some reward for being patient with them. Yes, the situation is bad, but c'mon... I'm not asking for a refund, because the game is actually really good. Server sucks, and the launch went terribly, but a lot of mmo launches have had issues. This isn't the first game to have major launch issues, believe it or not. I'm not saying cut them some slack, but raging, and asking for refunds isn't going to solve the situation any faster. I applaud the people who are being patient and understand SE is having some major issues. It will be fixed, and we will be able to play as long as we want soon enough. I bought the last physical copy in my area. Literally, the last copy in my area.

Digital sales were halted because of the situation, but Amazon has lifted that, and digital purchases are now available again. I installed, and updated, and the servers were having issues. Was I mad? No, frustrated yeah, because I just got everything ready for it haha, but you know I took it in stride, and eventually I was able to make a character, and play the game. I felt like a found a new home when I got inside the game and played it. I will defiantly be playing this game for a long, long time.  I have high hopes for this game, and I hope SE can deliver promising updates, and get the server problems fixed ASAP. I play on the Behemoth server, and my IGN is Jace Beleren. Feel free to hit me up, and we can level, or just chat it up! Cheers!
