Skill Trees Explained in Latest Update - Blade & Soul -

The Blade & Soul site has been updated with a terrific first-look at the way players will progress their characters via the skill tree. According to the introduction, skill progression allows players to define their own individual style.

Of particular note is that skills can be re-worked at any time that they are not engaged in combat. This allows versatility before entering battle to tailor-make a skill set that will best suit the given situation.

Skills are customizable at any time out of combat, encouraging martial artists to focus their attention on improving skills for different situations. Skill choices can also be saved, as there’s an opportunity to unlock additional pages in the skill book to save individual builds to swap between at-will. You could, for example, have one build to balance damage and survivability for adventuring alone, and another that’s more attuned to supporting other players in a world PvP setting.

How you choose to customize your skills is up to you, but recommendations on builds that work well for your class are also provided, for those who prefer to purely focus on combat.
