When the Blade & Soul update, Unchained, goes live on March 2nd, the Warlock class will enter the game. NCSoft has issued a challenge to all would-be 'Locks and other "under 10" characters: Get to level 45 by March 23rd and score a special upgrade bundle with the chance at the new Temptation costume.
It has been nearly two months since NCSoft released an EU/NA version of Wuxia MMORPG Blade and Soul. As time has gone on, players are moving to level cap, working on increasing the power of their weapons and are engaging heavily in arena and world PvP. As mentioned previously, NCSoft’s long-term plan for BnS is arena-based PvP tournaments that are already quite successful in the South Korean market.

Today NCSOFT announced that the next big update for Blade & Soul is launching on March 2nd. Bringing the new Warlock class into the game, along with the 8th floor of Mushin's Tower, plus the Naryu Labyrinth and other game updates.

It has been almost a month since the EU/NA version of Blade and Soul was released. Many current players have noticed a reduction of the population on servers which is to be expected, of course, though there is some thought that this will continue until the game finds its core audience.

On February 10th, Blade & Soul will be updated with the Rising Waters content expansion, the centerpiece of which is Mushin's Tower. The official site has a new lore piece to give players a feel for the importance of the tower and how it will test each warrior's skill and ability to survive.
ESL has announced that Blade & Soul will become part of its stable of eSports titles. The site will host both North American and European 1v1 Community Cup tournaments set to begin on February 7th. All players of level 15 and above can take part according to region and can sign up on the ESL site.
We’ve been playing Blade & Soul alongside the million-plus new players to NCSOFT’s latest game over the past week and a half. Blade & Soul is a martial arts fantasy MMORPG currently in development by NCsoft and its Team Bloodlust division. The game will have stylized art and character designs by famed artist Hyung-tae Kim, and will feature lush environments and gameplay that borrows elements from fighting games, platformers, and even tosses in a few puzzles. The Rising Waters update to Blade & Soul is now announced as being ready for deployment on February 10th. The update will feature new end game content with three new max-level content adventures that will increase a player's martial abilities. In addition, Bloodshade Harbor, a 4, 6 or 24 player dungeon will be released.
NCSoft has announced that over a million active players have taken part in Blade & Soul since its official launch less than a week ago.
The Blade & Soul team has posted on the official forum that a second round of servers will be deployed as all servers, including the most recently added, are full. Two more servers each for North America and Europe will be added and new hardware has been ordered proactively in case more are required.
