The fifth and final entry to Art Director Nick Ebenhoch's Dev Diary series is now available on the official Black Prophecy website. The final dev diary focuses on the Genide faction, which is described as a "biogenetic advancement of the Humans. Progression in genetics, medicine and research are the animating spirit of the Genides..." Unlike the Human and Tyi factions, the Genide's employ a "smoother and calmer" single module design with an emphasis on height.

The October Black Prophecy newsletter has is now available to eager fans following the sci-fi space faring MMOG's development. The latest newsletter highlights the game's recent media coverage, including an interview and new batch of screenshots appearing over at ZAM, and also makes mention of the latest Developer Diary featuring the art direction of the Tyi faction, as well as the "Pimp My Ship" thread on the game's official forums where community members are submitting their own 3D designs.
