Pearl Abyss has released a new roadmap that will bring "a host of new content and activities" to Black Desert Online over the course of the next few months. Throughout Q2 2019, players can look forward to new areas to explore, new weapons and mounts and "a brand new PvE experience that will enthrall the community as a whole".

While there are no dates yet announced, PA has indicated that all of the new content revealed on the roadmap will be out prior to the end of the quarter. This includes:

  • Star's End Region - players journeying through this location will be able to unlock the "infamous BlackStar Weapon".
  • Underwater Ruins that will be accessible through a "secret rift that exists deep down in the ocean". This will be a location for high-level players with new creatures and bosses to defeat.
  • a "different type of PvE than what players have seen so far" that will feature group-based content
  • a new Dream Horse named Doom "that will only accept the fiercest of riders". Doom will be available next week.

Aside from these major content updates, smaller changes will also be made to keep people engaged and improve the overall quality of Black Desert Online. The Mediah Quest Renewal, for instance, will update most activities in the region, including background lore and story to provide a more immersive experience. In Garmoth Chase players will have to follow the menacing dragon as he flies around Drieghan. Lucky players can earn the rewards he drops down from the sky.

Starting today, players can also enjoy Mystical Ellie's Water Festival that is said to be bigger than ever. Players will need to head to Terrmian Beach to get started.
