Pearl Abyss has released a Korean trailer for the upcoming Shadow Arena mode coming to Black Desert Online. Shadow Arena is BDO's take on battle royale and will be introduced on Korean servers on January 15th. At this time it is unknown when it will arrive for North American and European regions.
Shadow Arena will pit 50 players against one another in a fight to be the last one standing. From our earlier article: "Each of the mode's 50 players begin the fight as a Black Spirit, then must work to find a "fallen adventurer and possess it". From there, it's off to destroy nearby crates and defeating mobs to gather up materials, equipment and abilities. As is the norm for battle royale games, the last player standing is declared the winner."
