The BDO Team Wants the Game to Last 20-30 Years -

If you thought World of Warcraft's 14 years was a major accomplishment, it's nothing compared to the Black Desert Online team's dream of keeping the game going for another 20-30 years! This news was revealed in a new developer diary that lays out some of what you can expect to see coming to the game in the shorter term and throughout 2018.

  • Black Desert Online is very important to us, and we want BDO to last for another 20-30 years. We will continue to improve the gameplay environment, as we accumulate knowledge, and our technology improves. Recently, we released information on the graphic remastering we are currently working on, and hope to release next year. This is only one of the tasks we will use to improve the gameplay environment.

Big changes will be coming to Class Balance, something that is considered an ongoing long-term process. Players will be informed through detailed patch notes about nerfs or buffs coming to classes throughout the process. The first three on the docket are the Musa, Berserker and the Ranger.

Other notable changes will be coming to the Militia System, Damage Numbers, and Game Client optimizations. Improvements will also be made to ensure that players do not feel that information is omitted from patch notes.

Lastly, players will also receive a free maide through the Black Spirit. You will need to be a level 52 to receive it.

Read the full dev diary on the Black Desert Online forum.

Thanks, WNxbadboy3!
