A brief Q&A has been posted on the forums of the Russian version of Black Desert Online that informs players that Pearl Abyss is taking over publication of the game in Russia starting in mid-October. Currently, the game is published by GameNet, but the contract between it and Pearl Abyss has been cancelled effective October 12th.
Quick facts from the Q&A include:
- accounts / characters will be transferred, but players will have to actively request the transfer via a tool on the BDO Pearl Abyss Russian site when it is available;
- Russian servers will not be merging with EU servers;
- localization will take place in PA offices;
- new RU forums will be opening soon
