With the new year upon us, it's time to look back at 2014 and pick our favorite games across a range of categories. The first week of voting is all about the Biggest Surprise of the Year, the Most Improved MMO, the Most Anticipated MMO of 2015, and the Most Anticipated RPG of 2015.
There are more categories coming in the weeks ahead throughout January (Best New MMO, Best Veteran MMO, Best RPG, Best Indie RPG, Best Indie MMO, Best Expansion/Update, and Best MMO of the Year), but this week we're focused on the below four categories. Voting is open until Saturday, so vote early and get your friends to cast theirs as well!
The Biggest Surprise of 2014 category is all about the game that shocked you the most with either its announcement, or its actual gameplay and changes in the calendar year. The Most Improved category chronicles the game that has done the most to become a better MMO in the past year. And the Most Anticipated categories are all about which games we want the most out of the ones which are scheduled to launch in 2015. Games that are scheduled to launch in 2016 will be included in next year's award categories.
Good luck to all the entrants!
