It's that time of year again, and we've got our nominees for our Players' Choice Awards for 2024. Vote now for your favorite in each category, and let your voice be heard.

The game industry's Game Awards are happening this week, but there isn't much representation for MMOs at Geoff Keighley's commercial extravaganza. So, we wanted to continue our tradition of hosting a version of the MMO awards for our readers to vote on.

We've swapped some categories this year, dropping the Best Cozy Game category since there really weren't any cozy titles released this year, and we've also replaced the Best Persistent World category (which was persistently the worst-named category on this list) with Best MMO-Lite. We feel this classification fits many of the games better than Persistent World ever did, and since we're seeing the rise of the MMO-Lite in this industry as of late, it's only fitting we recognize it.

Our Biggest Disappointment category is back with some familiar faces, and we've added the Biggest Surprise category this year as well to celebrate some of the stories that were uplifting or just a shock (such as World of Warcraft finally getting player housing or City of Heroes: Homecoming getting official recognition from NCSOFT).

As always, we're using a Google Form for this vote, which will require you to sign into a Google Account to participate. We will not be collecting emails as part of this, and voting is limited to just one per account. Voting will end on December 22nd, with winners announced on December 23rd.
