Reader's Choice Best PvE: World of WarCraft, Blizzard Entertainment
Blizzard took what had come before and did it right, according to many observers. The game is a breeze to get into, easy to play and extremely addicting. I think everyone knows at least one person - if not more - who spends entirely too much time playing World of WarCraft. The only surprise is that they logged off long enough to vote. Again the decision was conclusive. With 56% of the vote under their belt, not even the vote-split between EverQuest II (14%) and EverQuest (4%) can be blamed for the WoW win. Sandwiched in the middle came two games - Anarchy Online and Final Fantasy XI - tied at 12%. Next up is Best PvP, which had to go to a run-off. Did it change anything? |
