The first new recon section is called "The Greater Good":

Lieutenant General Micah Rogers' worldwide tour of the newly installed TemperNet Police System (TPS) facilities was code-named OPERATION SUPERFLUOUS HAMMER. The various national governments that funded, supported, and deployed the TPS units dubbed the visits an annoying but necessary nuisance. The rest of the world's population that still cared called it the “Grand Tour of 2054.”

Rogers' orders regarding the tour were quite simple: determine the capabilities of the TPS units, analyze their construction and maintenance, discover their power source, and ascertain their role as an urban police presence. As far as the military could discern, countries with high mutant populations that suffered from containment issues would receive priority TPS deployments.

The second recon takes a look at the "Biomek Terminator":

Biomeks, essentially born in pre-Betrayal times to combat the Mutant menace, are quite familiar with the concepts of war and attrition. In the enforcement of their concept of Pax Bionicus, the Biomeks have long calculated that in a high percentage of instances, force, instead of negotiation or coercion, would be the more likely outcome. The role of this enforcement falls to the Terminators.

Vehicle: ATX Multidrive Terminators are built for one purpose: destruction. They have access to heavy assault vehicles and have the ability to withstand enormous amounts of damage through special defensive abilities. For instance, Biomek Terminators can supercool their armor plating for fire protection and disperse energy from various forms of incoming attacks.
