The Atlas Steam page has been updated with a lengthy post from the development team that provides players with the latest update notes alongside news about how technical and gameplay issues are being handled. "We're going to continue to iterate at a very rapid rate, you can generally expect daily deployments and updates to both servers and clients, and sometimes even multiple if we feel like a change is significant enough to warrant it," the letter reads.
Developers acknowledge the rough start to the game and apologize for issues players have encountered. The letter reaffirms devs' commitment to the game and reiterates that "rapid updates and continuous upwards progression will continue with Atlas" throughout its journey in early access.

The post continues with a listing of the most significant updates in the latest patch, including the addition of several gameplay improvements, the Top Hat cosmetic and a New Year event that will run through next week. "All Pathfinders wearin' a top hat whilst diggin' up booty protected by the damned will be granted double the normal reward in gold!"
