Intrepid Studios has announced that My.com will be handling Ashes of Creation publishing duties throughout the European Union and that Mail.ru will take on the game's publication throughout the CIS region. Intrepid Studios' Steven Sharif wrote, "These titan publishers are firm believers in the creative vision we have for the world of Ashes and will help us make the greatest MMORPG possible." My.com will be available during this week's Gamescom to host press meetings & appointments.
My.com is currently the publisher of a number of MMOs including Warface, Conqueror's Blade, Skyforge and Revelation Online.
The partnership between Intrepid Studios and My.com is the first publishing deal for Ashes of Creation we are aware of and it marks a huge step in making the game a true AAA title. We'll be looking forward to learning more about what companies will be publishing Ashes throughout other regions as well.
