Summerset Review

Elder Scrolls Online - Columns

Last year’s Morrowind chapter put Elder Scrolls Online on a whole new level. I was already a fan, but that expansion cemented the MMO as my go-to game in what’s available today. I approached Summerset with trepidation, because the setting and story didn’t have the same draw as that mythical return to 2002’s Vvardenfell. I’m happy to report that Summerset is an even better experience than Morrowind.Posted Jun 5, 2018 by William Murphy

Greed Isn't Good

Final Fantasy XIV - Columns

New in FFXIV patch 4.3 is The Ridorana Lighthouse, the latest 24-man raid in the Return to Ivalice series. It picks up from where the Rabanastre story left off, and is one of the most artistically impressive dungeons released to date. The instance is also chock-full of old FF throwbacks, with XII music thrown in to boot.Posted Jun 4, 2018 by Michael O’Connell-Davidson

Andaseat: Spirit King Gaming Chair: A True King?

General - Hardware Reviews

When it comes to gaming chairs, most of us go somewhere local and grab a cheap office chair. It’s cost effective, gets the job done, game over... Until it breaks in six months and then we’re forced to buy another one. I had the chance to try the new Andaseat Spirit King and will be comparing it to my current gaming chair. Is it worth the $329.99?Posted Jun 4, 2018

Closed Beta First Impressions

The Crew 2 - Previews

Feel the water on your face as you race your way through the waves, or feel the air flow through your hair as your car whips around a corner, figuratively speaking of course. The Crew 2 picks up where the first one left off in terms of gameplay, graphics, and open world story missions. Your character selection process begins with picking your perfect avatar for the story ahead. The Crew 2 is very much different from the first game, and that’s definitely for the best. A Case Against Water Combat (and in Favor of Anything Else)

Guild Wars 2 - Columns

In Guild Wars 2 we have had opportunities to take to the skies, dive into the depths of volcanoes, explore dangerous jungles and even tarry in the after life to some degree. Throughout the starkly different landscapes and mediums of Gameplay players have experienced, there has always been an underlying consensus from the greater populous. Under water combat is bad. If you disagree, I refuse to apologize, and will vehemently fight you on this. Posted Jun 1, 2018 by Steven Weber
