Upcoming Competitive PvP Mode Detailed - MMORPG.com

The Armored Warfare site has been updated with a new developer blog from Competitive PvP Designer Kevin Lee that reveals the first information about a new PvP mode that will be heading into the game in the future.

The objective in the "Lords of War" competitive PvP feature is to amass the highest team Win Streak during the season. Players will take part in Conflict Zones with specified objectives, requirements, team sizes and more. The goal of each unique conflict is to create teamwork opportunities that might otherwise be missed.

Each team will begin at a zero win streak and will climb the ladder as wins are accumulated. A single loss, however, drops the team back to zero again to restart the ascent.

Players can be part of up to five permanent teams or can queue as a solo player to fill out permanent teams that do not have a full roster at the time of battle.

Lords of War will also offer players an opportunity to progress along a unique path by earning Prestige for wins and will be able to earn ranks in ten tiers, each with five levels.

Season 0 marks the start of Lords of War, but over the course of each new season we plan on exploring new mechanics, features, and rewards based on your feedback. An open dialogue with the community is of the utmost importance to us; after all, we are making this game for you. After each season we will want to hear your feedback and share features and systems we plan on implementing. This feedback will help shape the future of LoW and we will continue to update the community on any changes made prior to the launch of each season.
