VentureBeat.com is reporting that an undetermined number of Armored Warfare developers have been let go by Obsidian Entertainment. CEO Feargus Urquhart said that some of the work on the game is being moved to the My.com company headquarters in Moscow, Russia. Those affected by the reduction will be released in early 2017.

Urquhart said in an emailed statement, “We remain extremely proud of Armored Warfare and all the work we have and will continue to put into it. None of the other products at Obsidian were affected by this. We wish our people the best, and are working with them to find homes with other developers.”

We have reached out to Obsidian Entertainment for further information and will keep you posted.
