My.com has sent word that the latest content expansion for Armored Warfare is now live. Called Eye of the Storm, new features include five new progression vehicles, the new Waterway PvP map as well as community-requested adjustments to Enhancements and the Economy.
The progression tanks come from the Czechoslovakian and Polish vehicle lines. Each one possesses battle mechanics that are "leveled" to become stronger and more powerful.
The new PvP map is set at the Panama Canal and pits players against an invasion force filled with mercenary raiders who want to control and pillage ships attempting to use the passageway.
Eye of the Storm also addresses community feedback to two backbone systems in the game. Enhancements are introduced to the way both shell damage works across the various ammo types as well as Economy changes that rebalance the rewards and their relation to in-game prices and costs.
