Artillery Class to Be Removed from PvP, Story Mode Detailed -

The Armored Warfare site has been updated with a pair of articles to lay out some forthcoming changes to the game. In the first, players are informed that the artillery class is being removed from PvP, though it will remain for PvE activities. The removal is due to a lack of diversity in game play and the team will be working to create more interesting core mechanics in the future.

PvE players will also have the new Storyline Campaign to try out when it goes live after the "Intervention" event that will set the stage for a number of story-based episodes that will arrive throughout the balance of 2017.

Season 1 of the campaign will run for the majority of 2017 and will be divided into a number of episodes that will be gradually unlocked for players to enjoy. Apart from the narrative, each episode will feature a number of goals that players have to complete to receive that episode's reward and unlock the next one.

Completing the entire season will unlock the ultimate reward. It will be a major undertaking spanning many months. Player abilities will be tested throughout the campaign, which will involve all the main game modes of Armored Warfare.
