New Redwoods Biome Means Big is King -

Ark: Survival Evolved is proving that bigger is, if not better, then at least scarier with the arrival of the Redwoods biome that not only brings in the gigantic trees of the same name, but also the Titanosaur. Players can literally build a mobile fortress on its back as it can carry structures, defenses and even other creatures as it rumbles through the landscape looking for veggies to nom.

Take refuge among the Redwood trees with new Wood and Metal Tree Platforms! Live like a Furry Forest Creature in these massive trees! Tap into the massive redwoods to extract their sap for healthy concoctions using the new Tree Sap Taps. Reach new heights with the Retractable Rope Ladders. Extend or retract these flimsy ladders, which are good for letting allies onto your ramparts while keeping the enemy out. There is a whole new way of life to explore! Littered throughout the Redwood and expanded Snow biomes are new ruins, which in future updates will contain collectible story notes about the history of ARK.

Not only is the Redwood biome now in the game, but you can grab a copy of Ark: Survival Evolved for a whopping 45% off at $16.49. The price is effective throughout the duration of the Steam Summer Sale that ends on July 4th.
