Alienware has partnered with the ARK: Survival Evolved team to entice players into the modding tool with the announcement of a $25,000 contest. The prizes are awarded in the form of new desktop PCs, the first prize one valued at $15,000.
Ever since I watched The Hunger Games I've been in love. No, not with Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of hero Katniss Everdeen (though she was pretty cool), but rather with the idea The Hunger Games was built upon. Yesterday, I was able to finally have a part of that dream realized, and I cannot stop thinking about it. The developers of Ark: Survival Evolved rounded up a bunch of writers and YouTube personalities and threw us into our own Battle Royale, and it was incredible.

This Saturday will mark a seminal point in the competitive PvP portion of Ark: Survival Evolved with the arrival of the Survival of the Fittest battle for $20,000 in a no-holds barred deathmatch. The team will be broadcasting the event live this Saturday at 12:00 pm Pacific / 3:00 pm Eastern.
On August 1st, 35 teams will be thrown into a single arena for a "Hunger Games" last-tribe-standing PvP deathmatch. The winning tribe will take home $20,000 and other prizes. The event will be streamed live via Twitch. Viewers won't be idle either and will be voting on "world-altering sequences" to take place every half hour that can change the face of battle.
