ArcheAge 2.0 is on its way. Called "Heroes Awaken", the update will feature the Hero System that will allow players to become faction leaders who can enable faction-wide quests and lead the team to war.
Interested players can throw their hats into the virtual ring by earning Leadership Points and boosting Reputation. At the end of the candidacy phase, the twenty players with the highest Leadership Points will become eligible for election. Leadership points are gained via open world PvP, party raids & quests and by earning reputation from other players.
During Election Week, players of level 30 with 50 Leadership points will be able to cast a vote via an in-game ballot. Those elected will form a council
Once elected, the Hero council will be made up of the following members:
- Erenor’s Hero: One hero will lead each faction and possess a radiant golden cloak that reduces cast time and increases cast speed for all faction members within a 25m radius.
- Ayanad Heroes: Two faction heroes will be Ayanads. The fiery red aura from their cloaks will increase skill damage for all faction members within a 25m radius.
- Delphinad Heroes: Three elected heroes will enter the council’s third tier. Their luminous blue cloaks will increase movement speed for all faction members within a 25m radius.
- Epherium Heroes: Four faction heroes will earn the rank of Epherium, and their immaculate white cloaks will help protect all faction members within a 25m radius from damage received.
