Seraphina "Celestrata" Brennan, senior community manager at Trion, has written a new post on the ArcheAge site to announced the commencement of a new periodic letter to detail the happenings in the AA community. She begins the letter discussing where the community is right now and debunks the notion that the AA community is 'toxic', but is rather "creative, passionate, intelligent, and bold."

From here, the discussion turns to how the AA community team will be working with the customer service team to revise public in-game chat policies and moderation rules on the forum. While not a change that will come over night, it is coming in the near future.

The forums will be undergoing a transformation as well with the addition of new features and sub-sections that include New Player Introductions & Questions, Official Discussions, Game Feedback, Art, Media & Roleplay, Commerce Center, and Gameplay Discussion. A series of new pre-made avatars will be added as well.

Over the coming year, players can also look forward to new community initiatives:

  • The Tournament of Erenor - 10v10 PvP tournament for major guilds from all servers
  • Bi-Weekly faction chat town halls
  • closer work with community content creators (fansites, streamers, YouTubers, guide writers, patch note translators, etc.)

It's a great read about a community moving forward so head to the ArcheAge site to check it out.
