ArcheAge Unchained Is Coming September 30, Founders Packs Available Now -

Gamigo's ArcheAge Unchained, their essential redo of the long maligned ArcheAge, has been given a release date. After weeks of teasing and the eventual reveal of the re-release, ArcheAge Unchained will go live on September 30th.

Moving from the free-to-play, buy-to-win model that plagued ArcheAge initially, Gamigo has shifted to a buy-to-play model many MMOs find themselves doing nowadays. That doesn't mean there won't be microtransactions - but Gamigo says that there will be no buy-to-win mechanics, just vanity items themselves. Players eager to purchase the game can do so thanks to the studio releasing Founder's Packs today.

Via a press release:

The ArcheAge: Unchained pre-order starts today on the official website. The fantasy MMORPG is available in three Founder Packs: Silver Chainbreaker Pack for 25,99 $, Gold Chainbreaker Pack for 49,99 $ and Archeum Chainbreaker Pack for 79,99 $. ArcheAge: Unchained grants access to the game content developed for ArcheAge during the past five years. All packages offer early character creation, name reservation, exclusive titles and batches. With Gold and Archeum, players receive valuable packages that include additional cosmetic items such as costumes, emotes and a lot more.

You can check out more about ArcheAge: Unchained at their website. The team also live streamed to their Twitch channel, which you can view the archive below.
